Fish Frames is owned by Lynn MacAskill, GCF (Guild Commended Framer); and their new premises were opened in October 2005 on the Shirley Inn Parade on the Wickham Road. Lynn has an HND in Graphic Design and is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild and the Federation of Small Businesses. Recently, she made history when she became the first lady member of The Rotary Club of Croydon East. She gained her Guild Commended Framer qualification in November 2007. She has been a Shirley resident for over 20 years and is delighted to be offering her bespoke framing service to the surrounding community.
As well as bespoke framing, Fish Frames has a contemporary art gallery and offers a fine selection of originals, limited editions and prints. There are also beautiful hand-made cards by Ann Purt and a selection of good quality ready-made frames in wood and aluminium.

Lynn believes that framing someone's artwork, whatever it may be, is crucial to making the best of the piece. She will take time with each customer to make sure that the frame enhances the item brought in and she loves a challenge!
Fish Frames stocks a large range of mouldings, mountboard, glass, etc to give customers as wide a choice as possible. Conservation materials are used where appropriate in order to preserve and protect items (see Framing).
