Not all Picture Framers are the same... Football Shirts Stretched over pH neutral foamcore and then tagged or sewn onto conservation mountboard, to keep them completely flat and prevent any damage ........not stapled or stuck down with carpet tape! Embroidery Stretched by lacing over conservation board, or pinning onto pH neutral foamcore, keeping the item completely flat ........not taping, cutting or gluing it, and potentially damaging the fabric! |

Glass The choice of glass ranges from ordinary float glass through to conservation glass, which provides 99% ultra violet light protection - thus helping to prevent fading - very important for those valuable or sentimental items. Look out also for Miroguard Plus glass - it looks invisible! We recommend conservation glass (99% UV protection) for originals, limited editions or anything of value ........not ordinary glass which is only 45% UV protection. |
Dry Mounting This is sticking something down on self-adhesive board or with dry glue in a heat press to make completely flat ........we would NEVER stick down an original or limited edition print as that would decrease its value. |
Reversibility Whatever item of value you give us can easily be taken out of the frame without damage as conservation materials would have been used. |
